Political Protest - Congressman McClintock

Truckee resident, Silke Pflueger, encourages others in attendance at the Truckee Tahoe Airport to write postcards to their elected leaders. Pflueger is one of approximately 50-60 protesters waiting for an opportunity to talk with California's 4th district Congressman, Tom McClintock, before he attends a private meeting with the Contractors Association of Truckee Tahoe (CATT) at the Truckee Tahoe Airport in Truckee, California, on Tuesday, August 22, 2017. According to several local-area residents/constituents in attendance, they've requested a town hall meeting with McClintock for approximately two years without luck. Protester Paco Lindsay said that their protest was "in no way a reflection at all on CATT."
