Yosemite Reopens After Covid-19 Closure

Paddlers move along the Merced River in Yosemite National Park, California, on Thursday, June 11, 2020. The park, closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic since March 20, 2020, re-opened to the public today.

In accordance with guidance from the White House, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), state and local public health authorities, Yosemite National Park is open with limited services and facilities to those with day-use reservations, reservations for in-park lodging or camping, and wilderness or Half Dome permits.

Details and updates on park operations and services will continue to be posted on the park’s official website at www.nps.gov/yose.
