Tony Maldonado (left) and David Mingham (right), who was born and raised in Modesto, work on the restoration of the Modesto arch on I Street in Modesto, Calif., on August 18, 2012. Both men work for Collins Electrical Company, one of the local companies donating time to restore the arch. Mingham said he was proud to be a part of Modesto's history by helping restore the historic landmark.
