Yosemite Ferguson Fire

Swinging Bridge, typically a popular destination for Yosemite Valley visitors, is deserted on Thursday afternoon, July 26, 2018. Yosemite Valley closed to all visitors at noon yesterday in part because of poor air quality, as well as for safety reasons due to firefighting personnel and equipment on roads because of the Ferguson Fire. The fire is burning near the park's El Portal entrance.
