A Yosemite National Park visitor wades through the Merced River near Swinging Bridge on Thursday afternoon, June 11, 2020. The park, closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic since March 20, 2020, re-opened to the public today.
In accordance with guidance from the White House, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), state and local public health authorities, Yosemite National Park is open with limited services and facilities to those with day-use reservations, reservations for in-park lodging or camping, and wilderness or Half Dome permits.
