California Wildfires - Carr Fire

Firefighters use tools to open a residential safe for homeowners who are returning to their Lake Redding Estates neighborhood for the first time after being evacuated during the Carr Fire in Redding, California, on Friday, August 3, 2018. Firefighters, chaplans, law enforcement, utility companies and volunteers were on hand to help homeowners sift through remains, offer emotional support or provide water and work tools. Many homes throughout the neighborhood were destroyed during the Carr Fire. Many residents had only moments to flee from the fire.
